My Life Without DoTERRA

What would my life be like if I never found doTERRA?

My life without doTERRA

How would things change, what would my life look like if I didn't build a business with doTERRA?

Today I began to wonder about all of the things that doTERRA has brought into my life. And, what my life would be like if it wasn't for my home-based business. It's hard to know what decisions we would have made or what I'd be doing while the kids are at school. But, I know for sure a few things that would be drastically different.

I probably wouldn't be working from home. I may even still be in the job that I had been doing previously. It's hard to know for sure...but I do know the time freedom that I experience now would be radically different. Choosing my own schedule and working from my laptop with a tea in hand in my cute office, my dining room table or my backyard in the summer is one of my favourite things.

We wouldn't have had the financial means to be able to afford TWO private schools for the past 5 years without massive sacrifice. And, these schools have been such blessing to our family in SO many ways!

I wouldn't have done so much work on myself. My personal development to help me become a better leader, a better entrepreneur and even a better parent, wife & human being.

I wouldn't have built so many new friendships with women who inspire me, hold space for me, encourage me, make me laugh and who each hold a special place in my heart.

I never would have been to Costa Rica, Cancun, Salt Lake City, Atlanta, Long Beach California, Prague, Whistler or (coming soon) Phoenix.

I wouldn't have been given the opportunity to raise $39,000 CAD for a project that is near and dear to my heart - JPLA Shadow of His Wings to help be a small part of opening Casa Maria for teen moms.

It's hard to pinpoint the one thing that would be different...because it's affected my entire life. And yet, doTERRA isn't my whole life. I have time for date nights. Time for boardgames and baking with the boys. Time for girls night out. Time for fundraising. Time for travel. Time for God, worship & Church activities. Time for myself and time for self reflection. So much has changed, and so much is still completely and authentically me. I am forever grateful.
